For a number of years my good friend Cynthia, of Green Couch Designs, and I have combined our love of photography and graphic design to make these monthly desktop calendars. Last year I even had my handwriting made into a font by Chank that we incorporated into the calendars too. Each month I go through my archives and pick out my favorite shots to send to Cynthia. Usually I send her anywhere from 3-6 shots from which to choose. Then she makes the beautiful calendars for us to share with all of our friends/family/clients.
All you do is click on the image, then right click it. It will give you an option to save as a desktop wallpaper and voila! I use it all month long. Enjoy!

I love living in New Mexico. It is the only place I have ever lived where I can see myself living for the rest of my life. I love it that much. I don’t think there is a day that goes by where I look around and feel an immense, overwhelming feeling of gratitude for where I live. These feelings are further solidified when I see one of our unbelievably gorgeous sunrises or sunsets. It takes your breath away to see what the sky can do out here and I am able to witness it by just walking out my front door. You don’t believe me? Take a look at this whole set of pictures I’ve taken over the past few years. See? I mean really. Where else can you witness skies like this on almost a daily basis? For example, look what I saw this morning. I walked out my garage barefoot and in my pajamas and saw this.

And this, my friends, is why I don’t think I will ever leave this state.

me myself & I
I’ve had a blog for many years but I felt it was time to have a dedicated photoblog. I know that when I go and check out other photographers I like to look at their blog to get an idea of what type of work they produce. My idea for this blog is to do just that. You will see snippets from my sessions, outings with my photog friends, pictures I love and basically anything else about photography I feel like sharing! I’ve wanted to do this for a long time and am super excited to finally have this space. So welcome to my new blog.
